Our story

Made by parents who didn't want to forget the little things.

One Little Line started with a simple, quiet fear: that the tiny everyday moments — the ones you swear you'll always remember — slip away faster than you expect.

A mother resting her forehead against her small child on the sofa, a quiet everyday moment at home

We're a small team of parents. Like a lot of parents, we started keeping a journal — and, like a lot of parents, we fell behind. The days were full. By the time there was a quiet moment to write, the funny word or the sleepy question from that morning had already blurred. A blank page asking for a full entry is a hard thing to face when you're exhausted.

So we built the opposite of that. One line. Thirty seconds. Then get back to your day. No streak guilt, no long-form journaling, no pressure — just the smallest possible way to catch a moment before it's gone.

"The little things blur. Keep one line a day."

Why a line, and not a whole page

Because the barrier to remembering shouldn't be time you don't have. A single honest sentence — "she called every bird a tiny airplane" — holds more than a paragraph written out of obligation. Small enough to actually do. Real enough to treasure later.

The keepsake at the heart of it

Every month, your little lines quietly become a written keepsake letter about your child — a small, warm thing you can read back and keep. It's the payoff for all those thirty-second moments: they add up to a story.

What we care about

Your memories are yours. No ads, no data selling. Everything is stored securely in the EU, and you can export what you've written as a PDF keepsake at any time — subscribed or not. We're building something we'd want for our own family, which means privacy and permanence aren't features to us; they're the whole point.

We named it for the smallest unit of remembering — one little line — and for the little line of a life just beginning. It's made with love, in the EU, by parents who are keeping their own child's story one sentence at a time.
